Welcome to the ShopStack Affiliate Program, operated by Magemen. By joining, you agree to these terms. Please also review the Program Policy in your Shopstack Affiliates dashboard before you promote.
1. Eligibility
To participate, you must:
- Operate a valid business, agency, content channel, or independent referral channel.
- Promote only to acceptable Shopify stores (see criteria below).
- Comply with all applicable laws, including anti-spam, advertising, and endorsement disclosure rules.
- Be approved by ShopStack. We aim to review applications within the approval window shown in Program settings and may refuse or close accounts that break these terms.
2. Acceptable Shopify Stores
We only pay commissions for referrals to Shopify stores that meet at least 2 of the following requirements:
- Store is active for a minimum of 6 months and on a Shopify plan.
- Store plan is Basic or higher.
- Store has at least 10 products and 2 out-of-stock products.
- Store has generated at least $500 in revenue in the last quarter.
3. Commission
Unless a different rate is agreed in writing for your account, you earn commission on net paid subscription fees according to the program schedule published in the portal (default: 25% for the first 12 months after the merchant's first successful paid charge, then 10% for the next 12 months, then 0%).
- Commission is paid on paid subscriptions only. Free plans and trials do not earn until the merchant starts paying.
- Your referral link sets attribution for the attribution window published in Program settings (default 90 days). If the merchant installs within that window and starts a paid plan, the referral is yours.
- If two affiliates referred the same merchant, the most recent valid click within the attribution window gets the credit.
- Self-referrals are not eligible.
- Commission on refunded or reversed payments is removed. We are not obligated to pay commission on fraudulent or abusive referrals.
- High-performing affiliates may unlock a higher intro rate when they meet the active paid referral threshold published in Program settings.
4. Prohibited Practices
Your partnership may be suspended or terminated, and unpaid commission withheld, if you:
- Bid on ShopStack or our app names in paid search
- Use cookie stuffing
- Self-refer
- Create fake installs
- Make misleading claims about the apps
- Spam
- Offer rewards in exchange for App Store reviews
- Pay or incentivise App Store reviews of any kind
- Engage in fraud, misrepresentation, or abuse of the program
- Refer stores that do not meet the acceptable Shopify store requirements
- Fail to disclose the affiliate relationship (example: "I earn a commission if you subscribe through this link.")
5. Payments
- Payouts are issued monthly via the methods listed in Program settings (default: PayPal or bank transfer) in USD.
- Commissions become payable after the holdback period published in Program settings (default 30 days) following a successful paid transaction.
- The minimum payout threshold is published in Program settings (default $250). Balances below the minimum roll forward.
- All commissions are calculated on net subscription fees actually received by ShopStack from your referred merchant(s).
- You request payouts from Available earning lines in the dashboard. ShopStack reviews requests and issues invoices.
6. Termination
Either party may terminate this partnership at any time, with or without cause, by written notice (including email). Upon termination, unpaid eligible commissions will be processed according to the payment terms above, except where commission is withheld for fraud or breach of these terms.
7. Modifications
We may update these terms or program rates at any time via the affiliate portal. Significant changes may require you to re-accept the latest Terms and Policy before requesting payouts. Continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
8. Liability & Disclaimer
- ShopStack and Magemen are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from this program.
- Your participation does not create any agency, employment, or joint venture relationship with ShopStack or Magemen.
- You are solely responsible for your marketing methods and compliance with applicable laws, including FTC endorsement guidelines and data privacy regulations.
9. Confidentiality
You may not disclose non-public program details, promotional codes, or partner resources provided by ShopStack to any third party without prior written consent.
By joining the ShopStack Affiliate Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
